David Thomson has been a toastmaster based in the south of England for more than eighteen years and has officiated at a wide range of events, such as weddings, ladies' festivals, society, institute and political events.
Weddings
As well as announcing the speeches and the cake cutting, David will make the big day run seamlessly ensuring that Bride,
Bridegroom, parents and best man can really relax and enjoy
their occasion.
Charity Banquets & Balls
David assists the organisers and VIPs to raise
as much money as possible through Auction, Raffle, Tombola and
other fundraising methods, enabling the guests to have a great
evening to remember.
Society, Institute & Political Events
David, with his years of experience and a thorough training in all aspects of his
profession, can advise on correct forms of address and protocol,
allowing a stress-free function.
Masonic Ladies' Festivals
David has officiated at over 500 Ladies' Festivals over 18 years.
David will work closely with the festival secretary to make sure
that the evening goes exactly to plan.

David decided to become a professional Toastmaster in 1988, and after passing all the necessary examinations, became a member of Britain's foremost toastmaster organisation, the National Association of Toastmasters in 1990. The NAT has currently around 60 working members in the UK, and was the first body of Toastmasters to introduce entrance examinations for membership based on knowledge of etiquette and protocol.
